Heather was born in Mt Eliza on the Mornington Peninsula. After 6 years of
nursing she began teaching craft at a private school, it was during this time
she began to exhibit her own sculptures in 1977.
Heather’s work is in private collections all over the world, including one of her
Platypus being presented to H.M. Queen Elizabeth during her visit to Melbourne
in 1988 for the bicentennial celebrations by the Australian Government.
She also has been commissioned by the Royal Melbourne Golf Club,
Launceston Grammar School, Toyota Japan, Comalco, St Vincent’s Hospital,
McCelland Gallery, Royal Children’s Hospital, Lauriston Girls School, Carey Grammar School, Geelong Grammar, Como House, Queenscliffe Yacht Club, Alfred Hospital, Coolart House & the
Australian Government.
